We are a large company with over 200 employees and a very large area of service. In addition to homeowners, developers, contractors, we directly support 211 Home Depot stores and other retailers regularly across four states plus extended service area for portions of four additional states.
We regularly serve PA, NJ, DE and MD, plus extended service areas. If you’re in western PA, but north of route-80, that becomes our extended service area. Other extended service areas include eastern OH, northeastern WV, some parts of western MD and some parts of southern NY, some parts of northern VA. All other areas of PA, NJ, DE and MD are within our regular service area.
If you're still unsure if we can service your project, please let us know your property’s zip code, and we’ll be happy to confirm that we service your area and respond with the complete information package of pricing and sample pictures of stone colors, sinks, faucets and edges.
We do not make pre-sales measuring appointments, nor are they needed. We've automated the entire process, we may operate a bit differently than many home improvement contractors or hard sell operations. Please call for a 15min conversation and we'll have you on your way to a fabulous Kitchen project.
Our process is pretty fast. For most projects two on-site appointments are needed (we do not make pre-sales measuring appointments). The first appointment for template creation is usually scheduled 1-3 days from the date of your order. The 2nd appointment for final installation is usually scheduled for the same day of the following week from the template appointment. In total, you should figure about 7-9 days once you've decided to place your order until completion.
If you’re unsure of the total square foot area of counter space needed for your kitchen, you can: A. Send us a diagram, or list of measurements by section; or B. we can accomplish a quick ten-minute call when you have a tape measure handy.
For obtaining measurements by phone we’ll ask some basic kitchen layout questions and collect key measurements. With information obtained, we’ll build a spreadsheet diagram showing all measurement calculations and send it back to you for verification .
All granite countertops installed are sealed, but we can optionally finish the countertops with a Perma-Sealant process too..
Before leaving quarries, stone slabs are sealed and polished. After traveling to and received by our factory, the slabs we work with are then re-sealed and re-polished four or five more times throughout our manufacturing process. On a microscopic level, all stones have pores that can absorb stains or bacteria. Our sealer clogs those pores from stains or bacteria being able to work their way into the surface. However, gradually some sealer will slowly wear away. We suggest that re-sealing the granite every three months, but no less than once a year. To do so is not really a big deal or labor intensive. You’ll need a liquid granite sealer kit from Home Depot or Lowes (about $25.00) and consists of a Windex style spray bottle with sponge. Just simply spray the entire surface and let it dry and you're done.
If you don’t wish to deal with the suggested maintenance, we can use a special 10 year sealing process with warranty that eliminates the need for granite care. Cost for this option is a flat charge of $250.00 additional (for up to 75sf when already purchasing our Kitchen Bundle Package Special).
Seams are made where two pieces of stone are put together and joined with epoxy. The epoxy is first mixed with color pigments to best match the color of the stones being joined. You can expect seams to be only about 1/64” in thickness (approx). A seam can always be seen, but it should take the eye 2 or 3 seconds of searching to actually notice it, and not instantly to be visible from a glance across a room.
There’s usually no sales tax because our products and services are deemed to be “remodeling services” and thus not taxable by most states.
